The Dam: Callie

Callie has been with our family since November 2008. She is 2 years old. She is registered with the AKC, and has regular visits with her veterinarian. This will be her first litter of puppies.

Callie has been a very good companion to our family. There are four children in our home, currently ranging in age from almost 3 to 11. She has been extremely gentle and patient with our youngest son, and enjoys playing with the entire family. She is always up for a game of fetch, and will continue to chase the thrown object until you get tired of the game. Callie enjoys accompanying the family in the outdoors, and while she has not had what you could call formal training, she has been a good hunting companion for the couple of times she has gone for pheasants- never getting too far ahead of us, and not panicking when the shotgun goes off. Living in the home of a pastor, Callie encounters many different people, and while she may sometimes let out a suspicious bark when first meeting a stranger, she is quick to make friends.
